Stored in its case for most of its life, this guitar has seldom seen use, which is surprising, for a lively and resonant guitar. After a fret dress and full set-up, it's currently running with a set of D'Addario 10-46 and a floating tremolo. Little signs of use, even on the case. When you first pick up the guitar, you'll notice how clean it is throughout. Not bad at all for a 12 year old instrument!
Originally custom ordered by GAK in Brighton, this model features all the hallmarks you'd expect, from both a vintage instrument and a Custom Shop reissue. This is an ideal guitar for someone looking get vintage aesthetics and feel, with modern appointments.
Based on an original 1956 Strat, you get a trio of well balanced, period authentic pickups, a large 10/56V neck profile, nitrocellulose lacquer, a vintage 6-point tremolo and many other standard specifications for that year. On top of that, you also get a flatter 9.5" radius fretboard and Sanko 6105 fretwork for easier string bending.

About Us
Welcome to Cody’s Guitars, where passion, craftsmanship, and decades of musical experience come together. Founded in 2017, our shop is built on nearly 20 years in the musical retail industry, and a lifelong love for guitars and the people who play them.
Our Story
Cody’s Guitars began with a simple mission: to create a space where musicians of all levels feel supported, inspired, and genuinely taken care of. After spending almost two decades working hands-on in the industry, we wanted to build something that focused on quality, honesty, and real musical connection. What started as a small idea quickly grew into a trusted local hub for players seeking gear, guidance, and a friendly place to talk shop.

We specialise in guitars, pedals, and amplifiers, offering a curated range chosen for tone, reliability, and feel. Whether you’re hunting for your first guitar, upgrading your rig, or chasing that one perfect sound, we’re here to help you find the right match.
Alongside retail, we also provide guitar lessons, tailored for beginners, seasoned players, and everyone in between. Our teaching approach is patient, practical, and focused on helping you grow at your own pace.
