In many years of supplying Gibson acoustics, I've never seen one with this much figuring!
Having been through an extensive fret dress and set up with a brand new, custom made, bone nut, not only does it look good, but it sounds and plays good too!
The fretboard has some lovely figuring and show signs it's been played in nicely. The original frets have lots of life remaining after being levelled, dressed & polished and the guitar plays cleanly across the fretboard. The truss rod and tuners work smoothly. The neck set is spot on, leaving lots of saddle exposed for further adjustment in the future.
In a previous life, it was fitted with an under-saddle pickup, which has now been removed leaving almost no signs it was ever there, bar a slightly bigger endpin button. There's a genuine Gibson strap button fitted to the heel cap.
The nitrocellulose lacquer has yellowed nicely and has subtle checking throughout. Signs of use include light to moderate scratches, dents and play wear.
Supplied with the Original Gibson Hardshell Case which shows signs of use - all latches work.
